What started as a simple idea has become one of Rhode Island’s most unique summer gatherings.

On June 13-14, Ragged Island Brewing Company will once again transform its 37-acre Portsmouth property into an outdoor music festival featuring local favorites, nationally recognized acts, food trucks, artisanal vendors, and plenty of room to explore. 🎶

Set against the backdrop of Narragansett Bay, the festival blends live music with everything that makes Rhode Island special: local connections, beautiful scenery, and a strong sense of community. Whether you're excited for reggae legends Black Uhuru, funk-soul favorites Ripe, or discovering a new local artist, the weekend is designed for those unexpected moments that turn into lasting memories.

As owner Matt Gray puts it, you might show up for one band and leave talking about another.

You’re driving through Little Compton, not really looking for lunch… and then you see the chicken truck 🍗

What started as a way for Andrew Greenwood to make farming more sustainable has turned into a local favorite – serving up pasture-to-plate chicken just off West Main Road. With a focused menu, fresh ingredients, and a farm stand stocked with local goods, it’s the kind of stop that feels both unexpected and completely worth it.
