where he quickly built a reputation for his power driven productions, exciting sets full of high-energy house beats, bass music, and elements of hiphop, and electric personality. As an LA-based graduate of Icon Collective, Sircasm has shaped a signature sound by drawing inspiration from the dark and edgy tones of Drum & Bass Sound design, and faster house tempos. In 2021, Sircasm began hosting and producing "The Opening Slot Show," an EDM news show that aired on a weekly basis focusing on dance music news from Washington D.C. This show provided a platform for sharing the latest trends and news within the electronic music community, allowing Sircasm to connect with his audience on a deeper level and contribute to the growth of the EDM scene. Sircasm's electrifying performances and seamless fusion of multi-genre elements have garnered local national recognition. In 2019, he was honored to be nominated as one of Baltimore's top EDM acts, and the more recent signing of his single “Bringin’ it Back” was by Phunk Junk Records, further solidifying his presence in the industry. With a commitment to pushing boundaries and captivating audiences, Sircasm continues to make his mark in the electronic music landscape, staying true to the belief that "Life in Music Has No Boundaries.”

Yesterday hit different.

I had the honor of DJing and emceeing alongside Baltimore Sound Entertainment for a day of service with the 9/11 Day Foundation and the Maryland Food Bank, presented in partnership with the Baltimore Orioles and T. Rowe Price.

Maryland’s First Lady was in the building too, and the whole day was a reminder of what this city can do when it puts differences aside and just shows up to serve.

Music, mission, and a room full of people doing good. That’s a Friday AM gig I’ll take every time.

I was playing with the idea of what types of songs can I drop after “it’s Friday night and everybody shouts” the night before the gig to keep things interesting, and when I saw Shania Twain on the clients must play list, I knew what had to be done.

For LGBTQ couples especially, the words matter as much as the beat. A lyric that says “I see you” hits different than one that just keeps the floor moving. That’s the difference between a DJ and a DJ who actually listened at your consult.

Someone put a lei on me mid-set and I accidentally killed the music with my headphones. Full stop. Silent room. Everyone staring.
Recovery time? About 3 seconds. But those 3 seconds felt like 3 hours.😅🤷‍♂️
Even your DJ has bloopers. The difference is how fast we recover. I really should get a headphone holder for my booth lol!

First time speaking Korean on a mic in a public setting. Not gonna lie, I was nervous and I know it wasn’t perfect. 😬
Gotta start somewhere🤷‍♂️

But this couple was Korean-American, and I wanted their families to feel seen from the very first word. So I opened the reception in both Korean and English. When I saw the reaction from the Korean side of the room, every hour I spent practicing was worth it.

My wife is Korean. This one was personal.
