Mrs. Kelly Brinkmann, a board member for the School District of Washington, recently spoke to Mrs. McCleave’s Health Occupations class about the Art of Thank You Notes. She discussed the importance of thank you notes and how to format them correctly. All of the students then wrote their own thank you notes and hand delivered or mailed them the recipients.

Students honored Mrs. Juengling for all of her hard work and dedication to them. Better known as Mrs. J to her students, they presented her with a bouquet of flowers. However, this was not your ordinary bouquet. The students welded the flowers, petal by petal, into a stunning sculpture. They even made the vase, welding every piece with the knowledge and precision they gained from the classes they attended at FRCC. Mrs. Juengling always goes above and beyond for the students at FRCC. Knowing everyone by name, she makes it her goal to help prepare these students for whatever path lies ahead for them. Thanks to her for all of her hard work and dedication to the FRCC students!

Delaney Ohm, WHS Senior was awarded a National Educators Rising scholarship for free registration to the National Conference in Orlando and $500.

Delaney also had the chance to serve as a National Ambassador to the organization, where she promoted the field of teaching on social media.
