DBS is proud to announce there will be a pre-party event at this years Drive-By Truckers Homecoming West event in beautiful Portland, Oregon. DBT has welcomed fans to its’ hometown in Athens, GA for many years now for a very special Homecoming event. The Homecoming West event has been finding its’ footing out there and something tells me PDX just might stick. So we decided to bring the Friday pre-party out there for a spin!

In 2022 Jerry Joseph released the ‘Tick’ LP with us. This record was largely bonus tracks, demos and live cuts associated with Jerry’s ‘Beautiful Madness’ LP on which DBT served as his band. Jerry has called Portland home for sometime now. What better way to kick off the first PDX pre-party than having Jerry headline it???

Morgan Geer of Drunken Prayer is also a hometown boy of sorts. He called PDX home at one time and still keeps a smoking band of Portland all stars there for his adventures out west. He’s spiriting in from his home in Asheville, NC to be with us. Check out his wonderful Cosmic Gospel LP ‘Thy Burdens’ released with us just last year.

The Snarlin’ Yarns was one of the earliest and most unique groups we worked with. They are something that must be seen and heard. Best I can describe them is a folk, Americana and bluegrass troupe from Ogden, UT. There are at least 3 talented and very distinct songwriting forces within the group and one singular improvisational poet who may just tell you exactly what’s on his mind in a way. We’ve done two records on the label together the first ‘Break Your Heart’ then ‘It Never Ends’.

We’re fired up! Get your Drive By Truckers Homecoming West tickets for Rev Hall November 12 - 14 and make our free showcase at Show Bar at Revolution Hall part of your plans at 5PM Friday 13th. We’ll get you primed up for the main act till doors at Rev Hall!
