I’ve been fighting this sound system install for the past few weeks. Every time I’d really let it eat for a while, I’d start smelling that unmistakable “something electrical is about to become a testimony” smell 😂. I checked amps, wiring, speaker, you name it, but could never figure out where it was coming from.
Then my wife walks up while I’m jamming, looks at the passenger-side pillar and says, “Ummm… where is that smoke coming from?” 😳
Turns out there was an old, cheap LOC installed by the previous owner, not even hooked up to anything useful, shorting out behind the panel and literally trying to turn my Silverado into a bonfire. 🔥😂
So apparently God didn’t just bless me with a wife… He gave me a wife, a best friend, a second set of eyes, and evidently my own personal fire marshal. ❤️
But seriously, moments like this remind me how thankful I am for her. God knew exactly who I needed beside me long before I ever understood it myself. There are more reasons than I could ever count that I’m grateful He put this woman in my life.
When the foundation of your marriage is built around Christ and the Kingdom, you start noticing God’s hand in places you might have once called coincidence. Sometimes His protection looks like a miracle… and sometimes it looks like your wife walking up to your truck and saying, “Babe, your truck is smoking.” 😂🙏
Thank You Lord for Your protection, Your mercy, and for the woman You chose to walk through this life with me. ❤️🙏
