Why do I believe in the Lord so adamantly and choose to profess Him to everyone that will listen??🤔 Let's make a quick list....
1. At 8 years old I made the foolish mistake of getting into a car with a stranger who pulled up on me and my friend walking down the street and asked to give us a ride (Downtown Houston area) but my friend that was walking with me didn't get in the car with me...looking back I think he dropped me off because there was a witness(could have killed me)🙏
2. At age 11 I flipped an industrial knife switch running 480 volts at a run-down industrial rice factory and had it blow up in my face, electrocuting me and causing me to fly 50 feet backwards but only resulting in 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my hand (could have killed me)🙏
3. At age 12 I was bitten by a rattlesnake but the fangs only scratched the top of my foot and didn't pe*****te (could have killed me)🙏
4. At age 15 I was T b***d on my side of the car(without a seatbelt on) by another car doing 80+mph by a group of men running from the police in a high speed chase after robbing a liqour store(could have killed me)🙏
5. Again at age 15 I was running full speed drunk in the night and clothe-lined myself on a literal steel wire clothesline, closed my trachea off and was rushed to the hospital unable to breathe(could have killed me)🙏
6. At age 16 I overdosed on co***ne and my friends didn't take me to the hospital because they were afraid they would get in trouble (could have killed me)🙏
7. At age 18 I was surrounded by 12 gang members in a 2 man cell who were within seconds of stomping my head into the concrete but a gaurd noticed us and stopped it at the last minute(could have killed me)🙏
8. At age 25 I crashed headfirst into a concrete wall doing 70mph in a cargo van with no seatbelt on, bounced off the air bag which kept me from going through the window, and suffered no serious injuries(could have killed me)
9. In my late 20's I was saved from drowning not once, but TWICE, both occasions with no life jacket, one of those occasions I was actually unconscious(could have killed me)🙏
10. Also in my late 20's I came within centimeters of a 12 foot Tiger shark biting my head off while attempting to get a girth measurement before releasing him (could have killed me)🙏
11. Again in my late 20's I crashed into the Texas City D**e at 2 o'clock in the morning in a 32 foot Center Console doing 30 knots, missing clusters of rocks by just a few feet and completely beached the boat, full hull and all motors completely on land(could have killed me)
12. In my early 30's I was cured of an incurable disease that would have left me dead by the age of 45, I'm 42 now(SHOULD have killed me)🙏
If you've ever wondered why my faith is so strong and why I TRULY believe God gave me this platform to further His kingdom, one look at my past will tell you all you need to know about the follower of Jesus I will always be proud to be. I am not here by luck, nor by coincidence, but by His grace and His grace alone. I thank the Lord daily for bringing me to this point in my life, not for the money, not for the fame, but for the chance to show so many others just how gracious and loving our God truly is💯🩵✝️
