Terence Edward Hall (19 March 1959 – 18 December 2022)
Terry Hall's music was not only for the ears. It served to create a culture that continues to live on, (but if only it existed across the globe). From the incredible Specials to the sweetest Colourfield, never forgetting the artfully sassy Fun Boy Three, there was an essential attitude, at times an earnest nonchalance that disguised his whimsy. I grew up with his art in my ears and it somehow felt like friendship. Every day I think of Terry Hall. Happy Birthday and rest in peace, friend. Thank you for all the gifts.
