🎇🎆We all love the 4th of July!! 🎇🎆 But, don’t be that neighbor. Fireworks are only legal during specific days and times this holiday and are listed below. Let's light up the sky - not the complaint line ☎️🚓

The Fourth of July is almost here and we want everyone to have a fun and safe holiday! As a reminder, fireworks can only be discharged within the Winterset City limits during the following times:
• July 2 - 12 Noon - 9:00pm
• July 3 - 9:00am - 10pm
• July 4 - 9:00am - 11pm

Other important reminders:
• No one under the age of 18 may discharge fireworks without the direct supervision of a parent of legal guardian.
• Fireworks may only be discharged on your own property or with permission of the property owner
• No discharging of any fireworks on public or city owned property – to include parks, sidewalks and roadways.

Also, don't forget to be a courteous neighbor and clean up all of your debris.

A lot to be weather aware of!! Part 1

Looking at daily rounds of rain and storms this week. In the end, we'll rack up some bigtime totals! 2-6" possible over the northwest half of Iowa. It won't come all at once, but by the end of this week, no doubt we're dealing with some soggy places. We'll be watching for flash flood potential with any storms that go stagnant.
