Joe Ely has passed away at the age of 78. 🎸

This cool Texas singer-songwriter was an integral part of Austin’s legendary alt-country scene. Aside from his killer solo work, this Grammy award winner was also a part of the Flatlandwrs and Tex-Max supergroup, Los Super Seven.

He was a recipient of an Americana Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 by the Americana Music Association. 💿
