Kris Kristofferson passed away one year ago today at the age of 88. 😔

A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, he is widely regarded as one of American music’s greatest songwriters, in addition to a successful career as a singer and actor. He studied literature at Oxford University, which was evident in the way his mastery of the English language shone through in his songs.

His compositions have been recorded by folks like Johnny Cash, Ronnie Milsap, Janis Joplin, Ray Price, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roger Miller, and countless others.
