A 20-year-old woman burned down her family home in KwaZulu-Natal earlier today.

According to reports, the young woman became angry after her mother and uncle left for the weekend to visit their rural home, locking the house and leaving her without a place to stay.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

" Hi Admin.
Please keep me anonymous.
What on earth is happening in Alex!? Why is Ngubane so quiet? Why aren't the police doing anything or saying something about the crime rate and murders happening within our community.

I am upset. I am upset that as a community we're not angry enough. We're not fighting against these thugs.

When the other station commanders were in power, we didn't have so much violence and murders etc. Ever since Ngubane came into power so much is happening, I now believe that man that said "Ngubane o bereka le di tsotsi tse". Because why is he not doing anything.

Can we not start a petition to get rid of Ngubane and find someone else who can go into power and actually lead us and not shy away. Ngubane is behind half of our crime problems, he's not doing anything, nothing, zero. He got rid of the CPF to allow these criminals of his to rule us."

Manna. God is waiting for you to look.
279/365

📖 Exodus 3:4 (MSG)

> “God saw that he had stopped to look. God called to him from out of the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ He said, ‘Yes? I’m right here!’”

Prayer:
Lord, we pray that You give us the spirit of discernment and a sensitivity toward Your voice and signs. Help us to recognize when You are speaking, and to pay attention when You are calling.

Walking with God requires patience, listening, and paying attention. Notice that it was only when God saw that Moses stopped to look that He began to speak. This shows us that God was watching and waiting for Moses to turn aside and look — to pay attention.

In the same way, amidst the noise and busyness of our lives, we must take time to pause, look, and listen for what God might be saying to us. The Spirit of God is always communicating, but often we miss His voice because we don’t stop long enough to listen.

In these times, more than ever, we need to know what God is saying. Let’s be like Moses — attentive, watchful, and ready to respond when He calls.

Shalom.
