Khalil Ben Youssef has opened up about the challenges he faced at Chiefs.
"Some people at Kaizer Chiefs had a problem between being realistic and ambition... we have the ambition to win everything, but we also have to be realistic," Ben Youssef said on Kaizer Jr demanding qualification. (SNAWA).
"The squad we had during last season (2025/26), had the quality at maximum they can reach is the top four [In the league]... If you can compare the quality between us (Chiefs) with Sundowns and Pirates, it is a huge gap.
"Sundowns when they had a problem, they needed a striker, they immediately they put the money and they bring Leon for huge amounts," he continued.
"He came today and after three days he played against Pirates, he scored two goals. Even the name of the other player we don't know, that is a project.
"The best players in the PSL, you will find them at Pirates."
