After reel frenzy from my Drakensberg hike, time for a photo…
Two marginally different versions, which one do you prefer?
The cooler tones with more noise reduction or the slightly more magenta (before-the-sunrise) colors?
I got up at 4 am for this :-) (well, actually couldn’t sleep at all, but the waking up part looks better 🤣)
It was too cold and windy to sleep properly, so I decided to use time productively 🌌
I took entire timelapse at various stages, but I don’t think I will put it together before my laptop is sent back from repair :(

Talking about wrong tools for the job 😁
Thunderstorm shot from my drone - composite of the foreground and sky (different place) both from my Mavic 3, combined in Luminar
IF you chose to film storm from your drone - make sure you do it when storm is relatively far (30s rule - more than 30 second gap between lightening and the sound) and hover low instead of flying (be ready to land on the spot).
The strikes are very bright, so you will need to underexpose your photos by few stops and only blend the ones that captured the strikes

My first HDR Moon and cloud stack.
My absolute master and inspiration is and I see how much I have to learn.
To those suspicious of seeing clouds behind the Moon - this happens because the Moon is much better exposed than the clouds.
It is difficult to get correctly exposed Moon and correctly exposed clouds in one shot though, you will typically need to do bracketed exposure or use HDR function in your camera.
If you want the “real thing” you need to shoot when the Moon is full and just after sunset or just before sunrise (and if course you need clouds). This will give you Moon that is not too bright compared to the clouds.
I shot in the evening, so clouds are not very well illuminated, better luck next time :-)
