Hey look! It's Comedy Lab recipients Mel McGlensey (visible!) and Douglas Wilson (there in spirit)!

They're using Comedy Lab to develop a reality TV show - but for your ears! In their social deduction game, players have to figure out who is on their team, deduce team special powers and survive each episode’s elimination vote. It’s a strategic whodunit where listeners can play along! Mel and Douglas are mid-cooking up the series and we can't wait for you to hear it.

Introducing Comedy Lab recipients Fin McLachlan and Danny Sewell!

These two are lifelong best friends and even though they've got each other, they also grapple with how hard it is to make friends these days. So, they're taking the normal problem-solving route of making a podcast where they meet a COMPLETE STRANGER each episode to try and find a new buddy! Sounds not at all terrifying!

It's gonna be one hell of a pod, so keep an ear out!

Tim is kicking off production on a comedy satire series set behind the scenes of a fictional sports media network. Rooted in character and Australia’s love of the game, the series tackles the archaic culture of sports media while also being hilarious.

Tim has put so much into this project already and we know you’re going to love it!

And that's the Aussie leg of Cheerful Earful done! Thank you so much to the podcasters, the Humdinger crew, the lovely volunteers, Giles from Giddy Aunt, the Bodriggy gang, Madonna Electric, podcasting as a concept, festoons, the fine people who invented astro turf and, of course, YOU. Thank YOU for coming out and making our little studio into a whole bloody podcast festival.

We'll keep posting more snaps and clips over the next few days but for now rest your ears, they deserve it.
