Move Records is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Belinda Webster OAM.
Martin Wright remembers Belinda from her days at 2MBS and from her first Tall Poppies office in Glebe.
Both Move Records and Tall Poppies have played an important role in supporting and promoting Australian music, each from their respective states, and Belinda’s passion and dedication to Australian composers and performers will be greatly missed.

Vale Belinda.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Belinda Webster OAM.

Belinda was an incredible champion for Australian music. Her record label Tall Poppies Records was the first company in Australia to focus on the recording of solo and chamber music, and for AMC to have a long enduring partnership with her and her label has been a privilege. Belinda’s role in the art music community, her passion, commitment and dedication will be sorely missed.

Vale Belinda.

Alan Holley, reviewing the album for classikON, writes:

Now available – the official music video for Fantasia after Telemann
"Fantasia after Telemann is my attempt to imitate the compositional model that Telemann presents in his Three Dozen Fantasias. Following Telemann's model, my fantasia uses da capo form to explore and contrast melodic ideas. I was able to develop these ideas – as products of the imagination – by using my knowledge of eighteenth-century counterpoint and harmony to improvise the fantasia at the harpsichord."
— Anthony Abouhamad
