COLORS OF BANGLADESH
A Photography Competition & Exhibition by UNESCO Dhaka
UNESCO Dhaka Office and its partners are organizing a photography competition and exhibition under the theme COLORS OF BANGLADESH. The photography competition & exhibition promotes photography as a visual art and as a part of the cultural and creative industries of Bangladesh, providing an opportunity for photographers living in Bangladesh to communicate and to enrich image-making culture for professionals and amateurs alike.
In close cooperation with the Bangladesh National Museum, generously supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea, and in partnership with Prito Reza Productions, the UNESCO Dhaka Office is inviting both amateur and professional photographers to submit their favorite photos to the COLORS OF BANGLADESH photography competition. A diverse panel of national and international expert judges review submissions and select their favorite photographs which will be displayed at the Photography Exhibition at the Bangladesh National Museum from 15 – 17 November 2019.
The goal of the photography competition and exhibition is to raise awareness and to promote Bangladesh’s photography industry as a cultural and creative sector in Bangladesh in light of the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, and as a driver for sustainable development.
