๐Ÿ€ On August 12th, 2025, in the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Jamaluddin Ahmed, FRSC, FRS, who chaired the program as Chief guest , accompanied by the Honorable Exam Controller, along with the respected Deans of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Social Science, and Chairpersons ,faculty members and the Moderator of Feni University Language Club Md. Rezoan Hossain who Presided over, the FINAL ROUND of the Extempore Speech Competition 2025 took place.

The Moderator of Feni University language Club Md. Rezoan Hossain briefed the guests and the judges on how the qualifying stage took place with 45 participants from both Bengali and English divisions and from which 11 finalists emerged. He also groomed the participants and provided key instructions on how to effectively deliver a speech and master the art of public speaking; and thanked the event organizers for their efforts.โœจ

๐ŸŽ–๏ธ The winners of โ€œFeni University Extempore Speech Competition 2025โ€ were given prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest as he gave a speech stating, โ€œIt is a matter of great joy to see the courage and enthusiasm the students showed in an attempt to overcome their anxieties and become a better version of themselves. No matter who wins or loses; it is the attempt to better oneself that truly mattersโ€. The event came to an end as the Chief Guest concluded his speech by congratulating all the participants and hoping to witness more of such events in time to come.

On 11 August 2025, the participants of the Extempore Speech Competition and members of the Language Club had the privilege to attend an inspiring grooming session conducted by Md. Rezoan Hossain Sir โ€” Lecturer, Department of English, and Moderator of the Feni University Language Club.

With 45 enthusiastic participants and the club members present, the session was engaging, practical, and full of insightful tips on effective public speaking โ€” from mastering stage presence to organizing thoughts under pressure.

Sirโ€™s interactive approach kept everyone involved, encouraging open discussion, instant practice, and confidence-building exercises.

๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ"Public speaking is not just about speaking; itโ€™s about connecting with your audience," Sir reminded the participants, leaving everyone motivated and better prepared for the big day. โ€œIn public speaking, repetition is not redundancyโ€”itโ€™s reinforcement. And the right figures of speech can turn ordinary words into unforgettable ones.โ€

Our honorable moderator, Md. Abdullah Younus Sir,
He wasnโ€™t just our club moderator he was a constant source of support as both a faculty member and student advisor, even while balancing countless classes and responsibilities. No matter the role, Sir never stepped back from his duties. His door was always open, and his encouragement unwavering.

From motivating us in every task, giving us the courage to take on new challenges, to boosting our self-confidence when we needed it most Abdullah Younus Sir has been a true pillar of inspiration.

Now, as Sir embarks on a new journey at Florida Atlantic University to pursue a PhD in English, we say goodbye with full hearts.

Thank you for everything, Sir. May this parting not divide, but multiply all that you've sown. ๐Ÿ’™
