While the first single off the album, “Love -The Breeze” captures the lightness of love, “Hatred - The Bridge,” captures the heart pumping, all consuming nature of the emotion. The album, Trance and Awe (August 2026) is a fusion of styles and cultures, featuring several guest musicians, including percussionists Persio Dominguez and Andrew Kagumba who appear on “Hatred-The Bridge.” This is the only track with vocalizations which serves to highlight the emotion’s intensity and also its humanness. With a blend of rhythms from the Dominican Republic, Uganda and China, the track showcases that coming together, especially through music can be the antidote to the fear and lack of knowledge often found at the root of the emotion. This musical dialogue between cultures illustrates that communication and compassion, especially through sharing music, can be the route to resolution.

NEW MUSIC from Pillow Fite!
Hard Feelings, Soft Promises Deluxe Edition is an impression of a year consisting of escapism, frustration, and infatuation. The album includes five new tracks, including two demos cut from the original album as well as a live version of “Laundromats”, which reached #5 on the CBC National countdown. The band let the songs be what they wanted to be and the result is an authentic, evolving sound that resonates with audiences. They will headline the Annapolis Royal Pride Show on July 4th. There's still time for a road trip!

I’d work with artists who are already creating momentum, and help amplify it.

I’d prioritize communication and work ethic as much as talent when deciding who to work with.

I’d connect activity with strategy. Every post, release, and show would serve a purpose.

I’d build the business alongside the art so both can scale together.

We’d build a small, accountable team where everyone knows their role and delivers reliably.

We’d build audience and data ownership early instead of focusing on growing numbers for other platforms.

Ten years ago I was making all my bets based on believing in the music. Now I know it's just as important - if not more important - to believe in the people making and supporting the music, and their ability to follow through.
