Phoebe, Malcolm, Mackenzie & Raife won the ultimate back-to-school ride — a trip to school in a real firetruck! This morning, the winners and their parents were picked up with lights flashing and sirens sounding, making for an incredible start to the school year.

Wires down in the Comox Rd region, BC Hydro crews are on their way.

This is the same stretch where ongoing sewer construction work is also affecting traffic and causing delays.
Drivers are being detoured away from this area for the time being!
