The Frightening 48 is back — and registration is now OPEN! 🕛

📅 Competition Dates:
🕖 Starts: Oct 3 @ 7PM
🕖 Ends: Oct 5 @ 7PM

Teams will receive spooky prompts and have just 48 hours to write, film, edit, and submit your short horror film. Creativity, chaos, and coffee highly encouraged! ☕👻

💰 Registration:
$20 per team
FREE if at least one team member is a PRIMAA member

🏆 Screening & Awards:
Your films will premiere on the big screen during Fright Night (Oct 31) at 10PM.
We’ll hand out Audience Choice and Judges’ Awards — so bring your fans!
🍕 Sponsored by Pizza Hut (because all-night editing sessions deserve good pizza).

🎥 BONUS: After the awards, stick around for our Midnight Movie to close out Fright Night.

Join us this Halloween for PRIMAA’s FrightNight & the showing of this years Frightening 48 Competition—a night of local horror films, pizza-fueled celebration, a thrilling COSTUME CONTEST, and spine-tingling surprises.
🗓 Event Night: October 31
📍 KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre, Grande Prairie
⏰ Doors open at 9:30pm | Films begin at 10pm, Main film begins at Midnight
🎟 Tickets: $20 at the door and available for pre-purchase at the Grande Prairie Live Theatre
Come watch the wildest short horror films created in just 48 hours by local teams! Enjoy adjudication feedback, door prizes, unlimited candy & pizza, and a Q&A with the winning filmmakers.
