Sad day today as passed away at the age of 51 from Pancreatic Cancer.

I’ve been playing him on radio, at open mic nights, Djing over the years and on my shows even before he was famous. He was always a hidden neo soul gem & true artist I looked out for in small places that never got that commercial radio shine! Still have his first cassette tape.

Life is very short here for us all & a mere drop in the ocean to what heaven will be like. Grow closer to the Lord that’s the only thing that will ever matter. It was interesting knowing he grew up in the church & his father was a Minister I wonder at this time going through his battle if he made his way back to his faith or pressed into it more.

My condolences to his family, friends and all the fans he touched with his voice. β€οΈπŸ™β€οΈ

Fall time pumpkin spice, beautiful colours of leaves & the stillness of nature when you leave the city and go hiking are my favourite things to do! Leaving social media to get outside will always make you feel better! ❀️

Every fall Salmon go upstream to lay their eggs and die right after. They spend a long time trying to get to upstream very interesting process. These fish are huge size of my arm or bigger! Love nature & everything in it. This was on my morning hike.

😳It’s not easy, everywhere you may look, see or turn you could find some negative, scary, fear provoking, doom and gloom, war, pain, disease, chaos. All of these things play a role in this great awakening. We have choices to make on how we react and respond.

🧠Our nervous systems for so long have been on over drive. Keeping us in a fight or flight mode as if everything is a threat to get us. Most people today are out of the present moment and either trapped in the past or the future.

🧬Our bodies have taken hits from chemicals, toxins, external and internal stressors that we can and can’t control. It’s important to identify your own health and lifestyle more than ever to help you stay grounded and at peace during such changing times.

🌎As the world changes, things change, wars are being played out, the media continues to hold together a narrative full of lies, puppets are being exposed left and right and people are waking up and seeing through all the BS every single today.

πŸ™Keep God close to your heart, be the best version of yourself, pray more, feel more, help a stranger, laugh, find peace through strength, pat yourself on the back often and smile your alive. None of us truly know what is going to happen next and we are all doing our best to come out better.

Part 61 - What do you do in real moments of loss? Where do you turn to & how do you cope? These questions I was unexpectedly faced with in my sudden losses. God is faithful even in our biggest trials & Storms. I see now clearly his hands πŸ™ŒπŸΌ holding me up in my life when I couldn’t see it at the time! It’s a remarkable story of doubt, heart break πŸ’” & losses even me getting out my own way to realize how much he’s been present! πŸ’ I know now that storms may come & try to rock me but he is my main ROCK! I hope by sharing my story it’ll encourage others in the midst of their valley that he has you too! Follow
