But we have seen a pattern of politicians presenting survival businesses like akara, kuli-kuli, petty trading and similar work as solutions to unemployment. That raises a bigger question: are we creating enough businesses that can grow, employ people and build careers, or are we simply asking more Nigerians to create a job for themselves? An economy cannot depend on everyone creating a job for themselves.
