Tilak Raj Bhandari, (the guy in Buddha's posture) was taken to the nearest hospital after Aakash Tripathi accidentally stepped in his hand during the match against Afghanistan.

Till the time, Nepal lost their seventh wicket, he hadn't returned yet. When he returned, he had two stitches in his hand & was suggested not to play for next 6/7 days.

At this moment , Nepal would have lost the game with 9 wickets gone & 2 runs still to acquire for the win.

But Tilak showed his courage and said asked coach Jagat Tamata that he'll play & stepped into the field. He wasn't even able to hold the bat properly and his hand was bleeding before he faced a single ball.

With his courage & finishing touch from Subash, Nepal won the game & qualified for Super Six. Tilak genuinely deserves huge appreciation for his determination❤️

Loss for Afghanistan means that one of Nepal, Afghanistan, and the UAE will qualify for the 2026 U19 World Cup. Afghanistan has to qualify from the regional qualifiers, as the last team among the 12 test nations must play in the regional qualifiers, similar to how New Zealand came from the qualifiers. Unless ICC changes their rule

Note:- As per current ICC Rule, only top 11 test nations directly qualifies For another world cup no matter if an associate has reached semi or final
