𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟕 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

Six Grade 7 students ran for the position of Supreme Secondary Learner’s Government (SSLG) Grade 7 Representative during the Miting de Avance and election held on July 14.

The Miting de Avance took place right after the flag ceremony, where each candidate presented their platform and expressed their commitment to serve.

Voting was conducted on the same day from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the ICT Room, supervised by SSLG officers and their adviser.

The votes are currently being verified, and the official proclamation of the elected Grade 7 Representative is scheduled for Friday, July 18.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Legazpi City Science High School officially reopened its doors to student organizations through 𝙏𝙄𝙍𝙄𝙋𝙊𝙉 2025, the annual campus-wide reorganization of clubs, held on 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 2, 2025.

Recognized campus clubs introduced their new officers, outlined their plans, and opened membership for School Year 2025–2026.

Sindak Urayon, the school’s official dance troupe, headlined the event by launching a campus-wide dance craze through an open playlist that invited students to join in.

The activity energized the venue and encouraged participation across different year levels, turning the program into a shared celebration of student spirit.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: LEGASCI’s gates officially opened for School Year 2025–2026 with a solemn Mass of the Holy Spirit held this Friday, June 20, at the school’s covered court. The celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jay Gargaceran and gathered students, teachers, and staff in unified prayer for wisdom, guidance, and a spirit-filled academic year ahead. The celebration served as a gentle reminder that true excellence begins with a foundation of faith.

To reflect the sacredness of the Mass, Citinistas were encouraged to wear red, the liturgical color associated with the Holy Spirit. As a result, the covered court was beautifully filled with vibrant red, an image of reverence, unity and hopeful beginnings.

In his homily, Fr. Gargaceran emphasized the value of remaining childlike; embracing wonder, curiosity, and an open heart as we all return to our second home. As the LEGASCI community venture on a new journey of learning and growth, may the flame of the Holy Spirit inspire mighty warriors to ignite passionate minds and purpose-driven hearts.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Legazpi City Science High School officially opened its doors for School Year 2025–2026 today, June 16, as students returned to campus for the first day of classes. The morning began with a flag ceremony that once again filled the school grounds with the energy and excitement of the Citinista community.

As part of the opening program, Assistant School Principal Designate Analyn Neptuno and School Principal Eleanor Garcia addressed the student body with messages of encouragement, motivation, and preparedness for the year ahead. They then introduced the teaching and non-teaching personnel of both Junior High School and Senior High School, ensuring that every Citinista is acquainted with the dedicated individuals who will guide them throughout the school year.

The event was further enriched by captivating performances from Cuerdas Legasci and the Argentum Chorale, showcasing the school’s deep commitment to both academic and artistic excellence.

In the afternoon, a short series of interactive activities were held at around 3:40 PM, giving students a chance to bond and enjoy the first day with light games. The program concluded with spirited performances by the Sindak-Urayon Dance Troupe and selected school bands, Raderie and Lumine, setting the tone for a vibrant and engaging year ahead.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Legazpi City Science High School officially opened its doors for School Year 2025–2026 today, June 16, as students returned to campus for the first day of classes. The morning began with a flag ceremony that once again filled the school grounds with the energy and excitement of the Citinista community.

As part of the opening program, Assistant School Principal Designate Analyn Neptuno and School Principal Eleanor Garcia addressed the student body with messages of encouragement, motivation, and preparedness for the year ahead. They then introduced the teaching and non-teaching personnel of both Junior High School and Senior High School, ensuring that every Citinista is acquainted with the dedicated individuals who will guide them throughout the school year.

The event was further enriched by captivating performances from Cuerdas Legasci and the Argentum Chorale, showcasing the school’s deep commitment to both academic and artistic excellence.

In the afternoon, a short series of interactive activities were held at around 3:40 PM, giving students a chance to bond and enjoy the first day with light games. The program concluded with spirited performances by the Sindak-Urayon Dance Troupe and selected school bands, Raderie and Lumine, setting the tone for a vibrant and engaging year ahead.

With the start of classes just days away, Legazpi City Science High School concluded the enrollment of incoming Grade 12 students on Thursday, June 13, aligning with Day 4 of Brigada Eskwela 2025.

The day opened with a final orientation for parents and learners, highlighting key academic reminders and school policies for S.Y. 2025–2026.

Afternoon classroom meetings were held to finalize enrollment requirements and confirm student schedules.

At the same time, Brigada Eskwela efforts continued across the campus, with teachers, volunteers, and staff working to ready classrooms ahead of the June 16 school opening.
