It's truly scary to see the number of AI-generated books that are quickly flooding the book market especially those made for children.

Our book making process takes on average of 2 years from start to finish and there's a reason for that. Quality takes time and our children deserve the best.

Warmest thank you to Amaris Ford and for sharing our approach to creating quality children's literature and our thoughts on today's tech-heavy landscape.

This past year, we witnessed AI take on new and alarming forms in children's literature so this year we're making every effort to bring awareness to this because HOW BOOKS ARE MADE MATTERS.

We’re excited to be speaking at two upcoming events . . .

On Jan 22, we’ll be guest speakers at IBPA’s Round Table - “Set Your Publishing Company Up for Success in 2026!”

On May 14, we’ll be presenting a session at IBPA’s 2026 Publishing University on “Key Publishing Contract Clauses for New and Future Publishers”

If you’re not a member of IBPA yet, you’re truly missing out on a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities.

We’ve been members for years and have gained so much that we’re excited to finally give back and help guide new publishers who were once in our shoes seeking clarity.

📣 Niskayuna District Families!

Come say 👋🏾 at the Creative Career Showcase on January 13th!

This year we’ll be out and about a lot more in our local community and much of it will involve sharing our love of publishing with kids to hopefully encourage more kids to pursue publishing careers and businesses.

If your family is in the Niskayuna School District, we hope you’ll join us for (2) 20 minute presentations where we’ll be sharing our publishing journey and answering any and all questions your kids have about making books and what we do.

📣 We're very excited to announce the launch of our brand new imprint, FIRST PERSON PRESS ()

Creating a nonfiction imprint is something we have been talking about and working towards since our first conversation back in 2021 and we are truly so excited for the work we intend to do under FPP.

Over the course of the last 4 years we have meticulously thought through every single element of this new imprint from its name, to its logo, to its mission. We truly cannot wait to bring this literature to young minds.

While we officially get the spotlight during the month of May, we feel honored that day in and day out we get to celebrate the MANY cultures, traditions, languages, foods, and unique experiences within the through the work we do.
