Starting a new show called “Sopa Shorts”
I watch a LOT of short films… because you know…attention span and all that.

For this show I wanted to pick some of my favorite short films I’ve watched over the years and talk to the artist that created it. We watch it together and I get to pause it whenever I have a question usually being “HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!” It’s so much fun learning how indie filmmakers get their shot!

TONIGHT!!! We are back .in.movies for ‘The Lego Movie’ ! It’s a movie… AND A POOL! An awesome idea for a date night or just to chill in a heated pool and vibe under the stars while watching an awesome movie! At the one and only ! Pool opens at 7 movie starts at sunset!!!

We got a film networking event from 6:30-830 followed by a pool side screening of ‘Psycho’! Yes! You can watch the movie from INSIDE the heated pool!!!!

Perfect date night, place to mingle, and way to spend a summer Friday night!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the viewing party last night and to everyone who submitted a promo. Getting out there and making something is a win in itself, and I’m genuinely proud of every one of you.

We had some really creative, thoughtful, funny, and bold promos all in support of something we believe in: public access.

Thank you to our social media manager for Channel 26 for the photo (and for everything you do behind the scenes). Also big thanks to from for filming the night for their upcoming doc Dust Don’t Settle.

And thank you to those who showed up just to support. Your presence means a lot. That kind of community is what keeps this indie world going.

Love getting to work with
It’s been such a fun experience learning about the history of the Musuem and ballooning! Cant wait for everyone to see the finished product at the museum in their new theatre!
