Have you ever gone to the doctor looking for answers because you know it’s not “in your head”? Well, I did just that. Not that I like the answer, but at least I have one! My MRI this morning revealed a small tear of the tendon in my right wrist! 😳 No wonder it has hurt since I fell on the ice back in January! With that said, it sounds like surgery may be my only option at this point. I see the surgeon on Tuesday and I’ll kindly ask him to allow me to wait until December, due to many weddings and other orders between now and then.

I have a 2026 waitlist. My 2026 calendar opens next month. *For those of you wanting January - March orders, as soon as I know what the next step is and when, how long of a recovery can be expected, etc. I’ll make a post. I just want everyone to be able to reschedule with another baker as soon as possible. I promise to keep everyone updated.h

Me: “I love what I do because I am blessed with a talent which allows me to help others create memories!”

Will Samantha remember that it was me who made her cakes? Probably not but I hope that when she looks back at photos she remembers how much she loved her cake and how happy she was while celebrating her big day! Happiest of birthdays to you, kiddo! Thank you for asking me to make your cake every year and being a part of your memories!
