Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Wyganowski! 🥂

If I’m being honest, I was a little stumped walking in to find only a vase full of greenery. I thought for sure the florals for the cake had been forgotten. I turned around to peek at the centerpieces (honestly ready to steal some blooms for the cake), to see they were beautiful greenery-only arrangements on each table. My mind began to race and I thought, “Game on, I can make this look similar to the centerpieces!” 😉 I think I have a new favorite look on a cake! The naked chocolate cake with greenery is giving a whole new vibe - something I never would have thought of doing.

Tristen and Philip, thank you for asking me to be your baker and allowing me to create the centerpiece on your dessert table! It’s one I won’t soon forget! I’m always happy to share a dessert table with Country Blossom Farm, LLC. - the pies and donuts looked so good!

STAPLES RAILROAD DAYS - stop by the Sugar Shack BBQ Food Trailer and Catering, LLC to get a Two Ten Cakes Oreo cupcake, cookie or brownie! They’ll be parked in front of Lefty’s.

Sugar Shack will be at Staples Railroad Days this Saturday! We are going to be stationed right outside Still Leftys Bar and Grill from 10am-12am!

Not only will we be offering freshly made caramel rolls in the AM by Long Prairie Famous Dave Blanchard, but also amazing baked confections from Central Mn’s own Two Ten Cakes from open til close! (IYKYK!!)

(We do plan to be closed for a few hours around 4pm so we can get ourselves recalibrated for the Street Dance 💃!)

Before there were cakes, there was college and Alomere Health Specialty Clinic. Just when I thought I could not love my job working with cardiology and Alomere’s two surgeons more, urology and podiatry moved from the clinic to the hospital to join specialty. I LOVED my job and the people I worked with, including Dr Hansberry - they became family!

Today I stopped by to see him, his favorite cake in hand, to wish him a great last day in clinic! Dr Hansberry, congratulations! Cheers to spending more time with your beautiful wife and family. Thank you for making a positive impact on my experience at Alomere. And thank you for supporting my little cake business! It’s always great to see you and Kathy, and I enjoy the conversations!

I almost forget to mention - Go Cubs 💙❤️ and Go Pokes 🧡🖤! 😉

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Barrus! 🥂

Your flower girls - so cute! I had them convinced, even if just until I opened the box, that I had to go out this morning and catch the little turtles for the tops of the turtle cupcakes! 🤪 It was a fun conversation while I was setting up. And the lemon cupcake - I was happy to see they enjoyed trying something new!
