Twin Cities Tower Work
The Telefarm towers in Shoreview will undergo planned tower inspections tomorrow Wednesday September 9th. These are the towers that provide Selective TV with the over the air signals that we recieve, transport, and then rebroadcast into our area. During these inspections each of the broadcasters KSTP, KSTC, WCCO, KARE, and WUCW will be switching to an auxillary antenna for the saftey of the tower crew. We may see some interruptions or glitches while these antenna switches take place. We are told that everything will be back to normal as soon as possible

Channel 16 sound.
Some older televisions were unable to process the audio on channel 16. We have found a way to re-process the audio and the sound on channel 16 should be working now on all televisions regardless of the age.

Transmitter Instal
The work that was to have been done last Tuesday will be done tomorrow. So some channels will experience brief interuptions beginning mid morning.

Troposheric Ducting
It looks like there will more interference from ducting this weekend, especially Sunday. Remember, do not rescan!

Troposheric ducting is very strong right now and will be until about noon Wednesday, do not rescan, uf you already have you will have to rescan again Wednesday afternoon.

NEW TRANSMITTERS
The process of installing new transmitters will continue tomorrow afternoon April 22 beginning at noon and will effect channels 5, 9, 10, and 41 at various times throughout the afternoon. These are your membership dollars at work keeping Selective TV strong and reliable now and into the future. Thank-you Members!

KSTC
We have been informed that channels 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, and 5.6 will be off the air tomorrow April 14th for about 2 hours beginning at 11:30 AM while transmitter maintenance is performed at KSTC in the Twin Cities.
