☔FLOOD WATCH THIS WEEKEND🌧️

A majority of (counties in green) are under a starting tonight through Sunday evening. A cold front will pass through Saturday morning and there's plenty of moisture in the atmosphere. Most places could see up to 2" of rain but some areas could see 4" or more. A watch is more than likely due to an abundance of caution because of the recent floods that have occurred across the country. If a comes out, that's when flooding is imminent or already occurring and remember to turn around, don't drown! Stay tuned for more updates as the rain begins in our area.

A combination of the outflow boundary speeding up (blue line) and the storms developing to the North up to has decreased the severity as this storm reaches . Still could produce 50+ mph wind gusts and half inch hail

⚠️UPDATE: GOLF ⛳ BALL HAIL & 70+ WINDS
MOVING FASTER, AROUND 9:30PM

Looking Northeast of Altus, you can see the structure of the storm coming through at this time. It is currently SEVERE WARNED⛈️ with ping pong 🏓 size hail and 60+ mph wind gusts. I'm afraid the storms outflow boundary (grey line ahead of storm) will cut off the energy but if it does hang on, expect it to impact & around 10pm.

Independence Day has a different feeling for everyone this year compared to most. Whether you're left, right, red, blue, any religion, any ethnicity, that's what makes the country we live in so unique...we have the right to form our own opinion. I just wish we could all come together like we do around the fireworks stands across the nation this time of year. I don't always agree with the people in charge, past or present. But this country is where I was born and raised and where my family is being raised and, for that, I will always have love for this country. None of us can predict what's going to happen with our country from day to day or years down the road, not even the people in charge can. But what I can tell you is that I'll continue providing for my family to the best of my ability and flooding them with unconditional love and no government will ever get in the way of that.

I hate it here 😭 come on rain and storms, push further west. Thankfully this isn't the only day this week with rain/storm chances and our temperatures will go below normal for a few days.

A spectacular weekend capped off by an amazing fireworks show at Altus Parks + Recreation American Spirit Festival! Both days were full of fun in the sun and our girls had a ball 😎 thankfully Mother Nature cooperated!
