Sumter Organizations United for Literacy presents Language as a Missing Seminars. The seminars will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 6, 29, and Feb. 9, 26, in 2026. They will be held at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Education Building 1B Wellness Room.

The Hope Center presents the Hope Loud Christmas Concert on December 13 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will take place at Central Baptist Church, located at 190 Upper River Road, with free general admission. The concert will have performances by Jeremy Rosado and Emerson Day.
