What you say about this knife ?
Today is the 194th anniversary of James Bowie 's famous sandbar brawl. The pictures are: A 1904 map showing the area where the duel took place just above where it says "Cowpen Bend". A marker nearby. The "Perkins" knife which I believe to be the closest thing to the one used by James. A part of my small collection.
I had this knife made for me by Max Berger. I love it!
Hi everyone I'm new here I wish to get new friends
BLADE 2021 A massive undertaking, and with so many foreign vendors and attendees missing due to border block, a mad scramble to shift spots and fill. Crowds faithfully waiting in rain, worry over attendance numbers, getting badges handled- Who gets gold, green , “ Hey mines supposed to be gold!”, etc Early bird vs CAP. The two famous/infamous issues of AC never being on/catching up with crowd size heat & an absolute AZZHAT head of security- BOTH were solved this year!!! The venue was FREEZING a lot of the time, but what sane person would prefer June in Atlanta and thousands of hot sweaty people crammed together? We’ll take long sleeves over funk any day. Overwhelmingly, Security was PROFESSIONAL this year. If there was an issue they ASKED you repeatedly to fix it, and often helped you solve it. They realized its been two years, and there are new people and that you cant expect thousands of visitors to know every detail. So they got confused over what doors should vendors be using in hotel to hall in morning, its easily fixable next time. Ms Alicia Newton was an amazing doll to everyone, even when you could tell she was running on fumes at end of day. Your incredible patience and “ Lets go get em” attitude 24/7 even with no voice left and exhaustion chasing you did NOT go unnoticed Ma’am. THANK YOU GREATLY for ALL you do to push this behemoth of a show uphill to the finish line. You’re a star. Thanks Bladeshow for making sure it happened after having it stolen from us last year. If you aren’t subscribing to Blade Magazine ,for whatever reason, NOW is the time to support it fully. REMEMBER, no Blade Magazine, no BLADESHOW. If you love the show, the sales, the camaraderie, the Pit, and the FUN- Show it. Already have a subscription? , gift one to someone. With grateful appreciation to ALL who make it happen - CHAD NICHOLS DAMASCUS & The Southern Circus. Booths 631-634. Onward to Bladeshow West and BLADE 2022 !!
