Trevor Morgan out of Apple Valley Forge in California won Best damascus at BLADE Show West 2025, with a knockout feather pattern on a chef's knife. While a lucky attendee snapped that one up right away, Morgan had its twin at his table and talked with BLADE Magazine contributor Jason Fry a bit about what it takes to bang out a gem like this. Dang, it's a looker!

If you're into cyberpunk knives, you can't miss the Ketuo Battleoid and Veritech. Like they were pulled straight out of Blade Runner, the knives have that edgy futuristic look and feel. BTW, that's hand-painted Cerakot on the frame and scale. Too boot, Ketuo keeps the tolerance tight on its machining, making these gems tight as drums.

A modular fixed blade? Leave it to Vero Engineering to cook up this cutting-edge concept. But the Phase is more than a new twist to the age-old tool. Collaborating with some of the biggest names in custom knife making, it’s potentially a way to collect the legends’ blades in one knife system. Pretty cool!
