There was a time when everyone in the house had a little something to do.
You might dry the dishes after supper, carry the laundry basket, sweep the kitchen floor, or help put groceries away. Nobody expected perfection. You simply learned that a home worked better when everyone pitched in.
Funny how those ordinary chores quietly taught us skills we ended up using for the rest of our lives.
