Alright folks, July 4 is upon us, so here's your semi-annual reminder that fireworks are strictly prohibited within Azle city limits (Article 5.06 of the Code of Ordinances, if you want to verify).

Want to pop your own? Cool, grab a buddy who lives OUTSIDE the city limits and have at it.

If you choose to “risk it,” just know the odds of NOT getting caught with fireworks are about as good as a sparkler in a rainstorm. 💥🚫
👮 PD will be out.
🔥 The Fire Marshal will be out.
🫣 And your neighbors? Trust me, they'll call us.

Instead, do something actually fun (and legal):
🎇 Head to Central Park from 7–10 PM for Follow the Flag, hosted by the Azle Ministerial Alliance.

🚫 No alcohol (city parks = dry zones, sorry not sorry)

• Women 40 years of age and older
• Have no personal history of breast cancer
• Do not have breast implants
• Have no known breast lumps or other breast problems
• Are not pregnant or haven’t breastfed in the last 6 months
• Have not received a mammogram in the past 12 months
