MURDER ARREST ⬇️

Maurice Parms, 51, has been charged with first-degree murder in the case of 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Our breaking news photographer captured this video of his arrest.

Reporter: Maurice did you kill Ja’Derrius?

In the video you can see Maurice look up, then shake his head.

Reporter: Did you have anything to do with his disappearance?

Maurice does not answer.

Authorities have not recovered Minnieweather’s body. However, investigators said evidence gathered through executed search warrants led to Parms’ arrest and the charge.

Our breaking news photographer Louisiana First News captured this video after the shooting Wednesday night. The victims included three children (11&14):

✅The shooting occurred in the driveway of the apartment complex
✅The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment
✅All of the victims are expected to survive their injuries

In a press conference early Thursday police said they believe a vehicle pulled up in front of the apartment right before the gunfire.

'I HOPE YOU HEAL': LOUISIANA RAPPER MYSTIKAL SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN R**E CASE.

The victim said the incident left a negative impact on her mental and physical health in a statement.

Mystikal, who's real name is Michael Tyler, responded by saying, “If that’s what I did, I deserve every day of this sentence. I’m sorry. I hope you heal.”

Weather Alert for and ⬇️

We now have “Potential Tropical Cyclone One” and is expected to become Tropical Storm Arthur by tomorrow. Tropical Storm Watches have been issued for the Louisiana coast. Impacts from this system will mainly be late Wednesday, into Thursday. Heavy rain and a tornado threat will exist as it moves inland.

Lester “Ray” Hatter is 74 years old and was last seen on June 10 on Florida Street.

His family says he has dementia and they are extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.

Due to his medical condition he may be confused, disoriented, and unable to find his way home.

Anyone who sees Hatter or knows where he is should call local law enforcement immediately or contact Nadine or Mitchell Hatter via Facebook Messenger.
