Great Danes Play This group was created to help raise awareness for local (Louisiana/Mississippi/Texas) Great Danes in need of rehoming and foster care. That’s it!

A few simple rules we request when you come for a Play Date.

1. No corporal punishment of dogs is acceptable. No one wants to see people hitting their dog, especially in front of children.

2. Please be sure your dog is up-to-date on all shots, especially kennel cough and any other shots your fur baby needs to be safe in a public dog park, according to your vet. We love to see puppies, but be sure they are vaccinated, and it is safe for them to come play in a public park. This is for the health and welfare of all dogs at the Play Date.

3. No aggressive dogs, please. Thank you for helping us have fun, family-friendly meet-ups for our pups.

After 1 year and 5 months of waiting, Cobalt has finally found his forever home.

Through multiple foster homes and many days spent watching his friends get adopted, Cobalt never stopped hoping. All he ever wanted was to be with his person—and now, he finally is.

Thank you to everyone who shared his story, took him on doggy day outs, and helped him along the way. It truly takes a village.

Happy tails, sweet Cobalt. Enjoy your new life filled with love, treats, and endless cuddles. You deserve it. ❤️🐾
