August was a busy month for the Port Royal Police Department!

From officer-initiated activity and traffic enforcement to calls for service and community engagement, our team remained actively involved throughout the Town of Port Royal.

In the spirit of transparency and keeping our community informed, we plan to share a Monthly Activity Summary each month, offering a snapshot of the work taking place across the department.

Advisory: MISSING PERSON: Deputies searching for 12-year-old Dominic Caruselle on Hilton Head Island

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 12-year-old Dominic Caruselle, who was reported missing this morning on Hilton Head Island.

Dominic is visiting Hilton Head Island from Upstate South Carolina and was last seen in the Palmetto Dunes area.

There is concern for his safety and well-being, and deputies are actively working to locate him.

Dominic was last seen wearing:

A white shirt
Gray shorts
A black hat
A black backpack
Anyone who sees Dominic or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777 immediately.
