We’ve got some improvements coming to our Port Royal branch! We’re replacing the roof to help keep things safe, sound, and in great shape for the long haul.

Here’s what you need to know:
Roof work is scheduled to begin Friday, April 25th. During this time, the inside drive-thru lane will be closed Friday through Saturday, but lane 3 will remain open, so you can still take care of business without a hitch.

Our ATM will be available through Saturday but will be unavailable on Sunday while work continues.

There’s no impact to our normal business hours, and the branch will remain open throughout the project. We’ll be working hard to minimize any disruptions and appreciate your patience as we make these upgrades.

Got questions or need a hand? Give our Contact Center a call at 800.255.1513. We’re always here to help!

Congratulations to Emergency Services Dispatcher Andrea Merritt!🎉

Andrea was awarded the 2024 Sea Island Rotary Club Emergency Services Dispatcher of the Year. She was recognized for her hard work, dedication, and her willingness to always step up in any way needed in the Communications Center.

In attendance to support Andrea was Major Adam Zsamar, Communications Manager Kimberley King, and her grandfather Richard Chalson who also happens to be one of our Reserve Deputies.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Sea Island - Beaufort for always supporting our agency and honoring one of our own!

April is No Tolerance Month
for Uncovered Truck Loads:
Tarp Your Load

Help Keep Beaufort County Beautiful and Litter Free

April is No Tolerance Month for Uncovered Loads in South Carolina.

Uncovered truck beds are one of the leading causes of roadside litter. This month, we’re cracking down on litter with a zero-tolerance policy for un-tarped loads. This is another effort by citizens to help keep Beaufort County clean and beautiful.

To help you do your part, County Solid Waste and Recycling litter crews are out in the community handing out FREE tarps and sharing Resident Guides on solid waste & recycling. Litter crews will also be available at County convenience centers.

For more information please contact Beaufort County Solid Waste and Recycling at 843-255-2735.
