We present to you a second compilation in their series “Discovering NYC” featuring 16 up-and-coming bands based in NYC including Amiture Music, Star’s Revenge, crate, Plastic, The Dutch Kills, La Banda Chuska, and more. This 16-track release is a look at the current state of the NYC independent music scene including demos and unreleased tracks and spanning genres from La Banda Chuska’s psychedelic cumbia to Epoxy’s screamo/noise-rock.

The Immigrant Defense Project (IDP) was founded almost 30 years ago to combat an emerging human rights crisis: the targeting of immigrants for mass imprisonment and deportation.
