A new survey of more than 3,000 households found that 62% have cut back on meat or protein because of rising prices, and it's not just people buying cheaper cuts. Almost half say they've swapped beef for beans or lentils, and one budget friendly protein has quietly become the go to fallback in kitchens everywhere. Two thirds of respondents now say meat, eggs and dairy feel more like a luxury than an everyday grocery item. Have you had to rethink what protein makes it into your cart lately?
