SMITH COUNTY MIDDLE FOOTBALL POSTSEASON: The SCMS football team has had a schedule change for their Upper Cumberland Conference semifinal game. The Owls will host White County on Thursday, September 25 at Owl Stadium.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 27 but the conference decided to make change. Because the date change was announced after press time, this week's Courier has the incorrect date of Saturday, September 27.

GORDONSVILLE JUNIOR HIGH TIGERS CHALLENGE FOR CVC TITLE: The GJHS Tigers football team travels to Westmoreland Thursday (September 25) night to battle the hosting WMS Eagles for the Cumberland Valley Conference title. Kickoff for the CVC title game is slated for 7:00.
