🏆🎉 SCHS CHEER DOMINATES! 🎉🏆
Today, our incredible SCHS Cheer team placed 1st in their division — but they didn’t stop there. Their performance was so 🔥 they earned a bid to the Americas Cheer Cup at Universal Orlando AND scored a $1000 partial paid bid!

We didn’t make finals at State; however, these kids scored their highest scores in years! We’re making progress!!! Congratulations Smith County High School Band!!!!💕 We will see you guys at STATE 1A next year!!! We are happy to end the season on such a high note! We haven’t even peaked, we’re just getting started! 👍

These kids are something special, and I’m excited to grow with them each day!

OFFICIALLY PLAYOFF TIME: The high school football regular season has come to an end which means postseason play opens next Friday night.

Both the Gordonsville Tigers and Smith County Owls will be competing in the Class 2A bracket. Gordonsville (10-0), who roared their way to a Region 4-2A crown and the program’s first undefeated regular season since 1986, will host York (1-9) Friday, November 7 at Turney Ford Field. The Dragons are the fourth-seed in Region 3-2A.

The Smith County Owls (4-6) claimed the No.3 seed in Region 4-2A and will travel to Region 3 second-seed Bledsoe County (8-2) next Friday. 🏈🔵⚫️
