MADISONVILLE – Freddie Lee Moore, 64, of Madisonville, died Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 6:40PM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Moore was born in Chicago, IL on October 2, 1961. He was a Factory Worker who enjoyed music and sports. The Commanders football team was his favorite team. He loved God and reading his Bible. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Marilyn Moore; siblings, Darlene Moore, and Michael Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Hardwick Moore; children, Missy Moore, and Michael Moore; grandchildren, Latasha Moore, Tiffany Moore, and Chris Moore; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Sisk, Easton Sisk, and one on the way; and sister, Sandra Garrett.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

BRENDA CLEMENT WILSON

Brenda Clement Wilson, 67, wife of Rick Wilson, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 9, 1958, to the late Barbara Hargrave Clement and Rev. Richard Clement. Mrs. Wilson was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Frankfort, where she actively sang in the choir and volunteered as a Spanish interpreter for the Clothes Closet Mission. She has always enjoyed singing and was a member of the Georgetown College Chorus, Western Kentucky Chorale, Aeolian Club Handel's Messiah Choir in Central City, First Baptist Church choir in Greenville, KY, First Baptist Church choir in Smithville, TN, Second Baptist Church choir in Greenville, KY, and was asked to sing solos for many events.
She was a student at Apollo High School and Daviess County Schools in Owensboro, KY, and a member of Pleasant Grove and Panther Creek during mission furloughs. She attended Language School in Costa Rica and graduated from high school at Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador, with honors. After graduating from Georgetown College with honors, she substituted in Muhlenberg County schools for a short time and then worked as a Residential Energy Advisor for Kentucky Utilities. She also attended Western Kentucky University earning a master's in education and taught elementary school, secondary school, homeschool, and special education. She most recently retired from Providence Christian Academy of Georgetown, KY, teaching their first high school students. She taught her sons in homeschool K-12, the Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts, which were close to her heart as she had both sons become Eagle Scouts.
Her vivacious smile and laughter always filled the room, but her dedication to secure her students' learning environment was a priority. Loving her grandchildren, family, and being a prayer warrior were her passions as well. She was a leader and participant in her Bible study group for over 13 years.
Besides her husband, Rick, those left to cherish her memory include her sons, William Clay (Deneé) Wilson, Weston (Amber) Wilson; brothers, David (Susan) Clement, Bill (Kay) Clement of Tampa, FL; sister, Mary (Brett) Harrington of Fishers, IN; sister in law, Dana (Billy) Knight of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Eden Wilson, Evelyn “Evey” Wilson, Elijah Wilson, Maverick Wilson, and Elsie June Wilson; and aunt, Betty Richards of Pensacola, FL.
Visitation will be held on January 10, 2026, at Church of the Savior, 1301 Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY 40511 from 11:00am-1:00pm and Service at 1:00pm with a meal following for friends and relatives.
On March 7, 2026, a reception will take place at Second Baptist Church, 217 W Depot Street, Greenville, KY 42345 from 11:00am-1:00pm with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

GRAHAM - Tony Harrison Dukes, 77, of Graham, died Friday, December 12, 2025 at his residence. Born March 2, 1948 in Tampa, Fla. to the late Ben Harrison Dukes and Molly Francis Garris Dukes. He was a welder for Tapp Welding and for Goodyear in Madisonville He liked to fish, hunt and be outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry Dukes and Jimmy Dukes and two sisters, Kathy Dukes and Debbie Cessna.

Survivors. Include his brother, Johnny Dukes of Graham; two step-daughters; three nephews; and three nieces.

GREENVILLE - Jeffrey Carroll Hankins, 64 of Dunmor, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his home in Dunmor.
He was born Friday, December 8, 1961, the son of the late Joda Carroll Hankins and Eula Ramage Hankins, of Dunmor, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Tasha (Mark) West of Greenville, KY; three sons, Colby Hankins of Dunmor, KY, Isaiah Hankins of Russellville, KY, and Austin Hankins of Russellville, KY; two sisters, Debbie (Scottie) Bibb of Springfield, TN and Kim (Mike) Smith of Lewisburg, KY; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews;
He was preceded in death by brother, Mike Hunt.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Bro. Austin Weist officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.

Central City – Carolyn Sue (Bjerkness) Freeman, 82, of Central City, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.

Born in Gary, Indiana to Clarence and Martha Bjerkness. She retired from RB and W Nut and Bolt in Gary, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randy Freeman; son, Jeffery Hughes; and sisters Georgia Nedderman and Judy Hannigan.

Survivors are her grandchildren, Josh (Amanda) Hughes and Tiffany (Josh) Compos; four great grandchildren; sisters, Gail Dayhoff, Lindel Lonigro, Barbara (Bill) Reed, Penny (LeeRoy) Vick; and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Loved all of her family dearly. She had many friends at Sparks Rest Home.

CENTRAL CITY – Glenda Marlene Wilkins, 91, of Central City died Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 2:15PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Wilkins was born in Greenville on September 19, 1934. She was a member of Shavers Chapel Methodist Church and worked as a Receptionist/Eyeglass Technician for Dr. Todd and Dr. Mayes. She loved to bake and was known for her brownies and chocolate chip cookies. She would bake chocolate chip cookies and wrap three packages in aluminum foil for her three boys and set them on top of the fridge. She dared anyone to get them besides her three boys. She would place the remainder on her bar to share with everyone else. She never met a stranger. She loved God, her church, and her family. Her pastime was sewing and quilting, but mainly her three sons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilkins; father, Halbert Shaver; mother, Thelma Shaver; brother, Roy Shaver; and sister, Mary Ruth Vincent.

She is survived by her three sons, Dwayne (Jeanie) Wilkins of Hanson, Dwight Wilkins of Bremen, and Keith (Gina) Wilkins of Bremen; grandchildren, Jason (Autumn) Wilkins, Kendra (Daniel) Pate, Johnna (Andy) Blake, Jenna (Ryan) Wargel, Jordan Wilkins, Shanna (Mark) Robertson, Heather Wilkins, Josh Wilkins, Lane (Shelby) Brothers, and Candace (Josh) Rickard; several great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

James Donald Grace, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 29, 2025. Born October 17, 1961 in Greenville. He attended numerous colleges obtaining a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and began work for the KY State Social Work Office in Lexington where he worked for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Grace and mother, Norma Jean Grace.

Survivors include his sister, Vickie Boren; several nieces, nephews and aunts.

Funeral services were private. Milward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

CENTRAL CITY – Jeremy Chaney Doss, 55, of Central City, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on November 23, 1970, to Edwin Eugene and Wanda Chaney Doss.



Jeremy was a proud graduate of Muhlenberg North High School and participated for many years in the Special Olympics. He worked briefly at the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center before becoming a cherished part of his family’s restaurant, Chaney’s Bar-B-Que, where he was known as the best bus boy anyone could ask for. Jeremy loved his work at Chaney’s and brought joy and smiles to everyone around him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Terry Doss; and his grandparents, Arthur and Lorene Chaney, Virgil Doss, and Pauline Doss Wheatley.



Jeremy is survived by his brother, Art Doss; sister-in-law, Linda Randolph; niece, Terri (Aaron) Owens; nephew, Jon (Angie) Doss; great-nieces, Addison and Taylor Owens; great-nephews, Sam and Elliot Doss; great-great-niece, Emersyn Larson; and many loving cousins.



Funeral services will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Matt Adams officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. GREENVILLE ----- Timothy Dewayne Gray of Greenville, KY died Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at his residence. Timothy was born on November 16th, 1963 in Muhlenberg County, the son of the late Clarence James Gray and Ella Mae Crick Gray. He was a machine operator at Flynn Industries and a supervisor at Emerson Electric. He was a member of Lee Hill Church in Depoy. He was also a Veteran of the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Rita Gray and Tereasa Knight.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY, officiated by Bro. Roger Keith.

Morrine Elnora Hardman Cox, 68, of Greenville, KY died Friday, December 5, 2025 in Greenville, KY.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville, KY with Pastor Dustin Laster and Pastor Tim Adcock officiating. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is assisting with the arrangements.
A native of Orofino, ID she was born May 12, 1957 the daughter of the late Morris Eldon Hardman and Patricia Elnora Simmons Mitchell. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She enjoyed reading and serving the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Christopher Schuman; and her siblings: Jon Michael Hardman, Judith Marie Massey and Virginia Marie Hardman Grimes; and her grandson: Zechariah Schuman.

BOBBY "PA" SIMPSON SR.

CENTRAL CITY - Bobby “Pa” Simpson Sr., 87, surrounded by many of his loved ones, took his first step into Glory and saw the face of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday night, December 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

Bobby was born on November 27, 1938, to Daymon and Mary Sylvia Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lee Simpson; his sister, Nora Lynn Jenkins; his brother-in-law, Larry Jenkins; and his sisters-in-law, Loretta Simpson and Marsha Simpson.

In 1955, Bobby married the love of his life, Katheryn Simpson, and remained faithfully married, and deeply in love for the next 70 years. Bobby was a hardworking man devoted to providing for and caring for his family through the skill of his hands and the strength of his back. He spent many years working in the coal industry and later as a welder and fabricator.

Bobby was a member and deacon of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully and taught Sunday School for many years. His life was a testimony of steady faith, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion.

An avid outdoorsman, Bobby had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing. He passed down countless lessons on catching fish and wing shooting to his son and grandsons. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his days working in the garden, caring for his dog Sassy, and shooting pool.

Bobby is survived by his devoted wife, Katheryn; his daughters Bonnie (Ray) Daugherty, Becky (John) Johnson, and Barbara (Patrick) Fulkerson; his son Bobby “Bubby” (Tia) Simpson Jr.; and brother Larry Simpson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jamey (Sonya) Daugherty, Mark (Chasity) Geary, Melissa Geary, Chasitie (Mark) Smith, Mandy (Jamie) Lampton, Kyle (Haley) Geary, Ethan (Michelle) Simpson, and Shelby (Mason) Morris; and by numerous great and great-great grandchildren who dearly loved their Pa.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Jamey Daugherty officiating, assisted by Bro. Wes Davenport and Bro. Vernon Cook.
