When Congress rescinded federal funding for public media, it created a $200,000 shortfall in our annual budget. We launched last week’s Refund the Defund Fund Drive to replace that support…and you delivered.

🧡 391 brand new members joined the WNRN community
🧡 166 previous members renewed their commitment
🧡 526 current members made additional gifts

In just a few days, you helped us raise $170,000. That’s remarkable! It means that—for now—we can keep WNRN available to everyone, and keep the music and community connections you rely on going strong. We are so grateful.

But we’re still $30,000 short of this year’s goal…and the $200,000 budget gap is a new annual reality for WNRN.

The most effective way to close the gap for good is through Evergreen Membership, but you can also help by increasing your monthly gift or making a one-time donation.

Washington DC’s Oh He Dead brings their funky, poppy rock vibes wherever they go. The close-knit crew is known for their contagious joy, and for putting on a heck of a live show!

Lua Project is a cultural pollinator, bridging together musical styles from different continents and different centuries. They write about contemporary themes, about families, and communities, of work and loss, but draw on the musical traditions of their own cultural past.
