Well this is a very, very nice new book from Crossed Crow Books. They kept delivering great titles. Apparently, not really a new book, since I see the reviews are from 2020, but I guess this is a new (expanded) edition? Either way, the reviews on Amazon applaud this release. Available for pre-orders and set for release in a little more than a week.

We all know the importance of Aradia by Geoffrey Leland and how much it influenced modern occultism and witchcraft. The author (Craig Spencer) is himself an Anglo-Italian witch, making him perfect for the subject, since he should be knowledgeable of Italian witchcraft and folk magic. Unfortunately, I am unable to see the table of contents anywhere.

Amazon only has the paperback at the same price as the original publisher, yet the publisher has the hardcover as well plus free shipping to all new US retail orders over $75 through November 30. Sure, ordering through the Amazon link gives me a small commission but I need to let people know of the advantages from the publisher’s website.

Moving forward all of our books will have the following statement on our copyright page. Even if it helps deter one person from using the work of our writers to train AI, then we believe it’s a step in the right direction. We believe in growth with purpose, and we’re sure that AI will find a relevant use at some point in the (distant) future, but we remain adamantly against its usage in the creation of any of our books.
