Family, did you know Black women account for over 50% of new HIV diagnoses among women. Let that sink in.

Last week covered The Time Is Now: Let’s End HIV in Our Communities, a press briefing held during the National Medical Association’s Annual Convention in Chicago. We appreciate our partners at the National Black Justice Coalition for inviting us into the room.

This presser brought together cultural and medical leaders including Raheem DeVaughn , Jotaka Eaddy , and organizations like and to sound the alarm and push for people-centered solutions like PrEP, education, and testing.

Raheem reminded us, “HIV isn’t a gay issue, or a straight issue, it’s a human issue.” 💯

We do this via our programs that blend music and talk which we define as “New Age NPR”. All of our programs are meant to challenge perceptions, evoke conversation & engage our listeners. E3 Radio is Q***r Radio Done Right.

In 2009, Anna DeShawn founded E3 because we needed something different. We needed a media platform that uplifted the voices & the music for people who couldn’t get any airtime. This need still exists today and Anna is determined to ride media into its next era by utilizing online radio streams to tell the stories that need to be heard.

Our Team is so dope and situated around the country. We come together to create this beautiful thing called E3 Radio.
