☀️ Good morning! In a post I made recently several of you commented on my embellished capris. I thought I’d show a couple of pairs that I’ve done lately. It’s SEW 🧵 much fun!!

🧵 Good morning!! I’m a day off and I can’t believe it’s Tuesday!! Heading to the cabin early next week to make another video, but in the meantime thought I’d post a few pics of a quilt I finished last year (I think 🤔 it was last year?!)

Those of you who visited the shop in Evans City might be familiar with the bench from out front. The dear ladies of the Foot bought it when my mom passed away. Quoted on the bench is her favorite saying. When people would ask how she accomplished this or that she would always say “I never thought I couldn’t”. Now this bench is at my house and we are making memory garden of sorts around it.

The pictured quilt is a mixture of Emily’s Star blocks (foundation pieced) and traditionally pieced Log Cabins. Plus a border I made up on the fly! Made from my stash.

☀️ Putting the last few stitches in the binding of this quilt!! So satisfying!! I found these darling labels on Etsy and they are just perfect to stitch right in when I attach the binding. ☀️ Good morning!! I’m in LOVE ❤️ with this top I made from a vintage tablecloth. It’s so roomy and comfy!! It’s the TShirt Tunic from Tropical Research. (I made the size Small)

The fun thing about this tablcloth is that I utilized the natural hems on the tablecloth for the bottom and sleeve edges - I literally made this in about thirty minutes!

Made at the end of last summer, this is still one of my favorite quilts! AND it was made with a bunch of odd leftovers!!
