Congratulations to the men and women of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office who recently graduated from the UNG - University of North Georgia Advanced Public Safety Academy.

Our very own Adam Pendleton is a graduate and proudly serves as a member of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Congratulations Graduates of Class 008!

Yesterday, the University of North Georgia Advanced Public Safety Academy at Forsyth graduated Class 008.

During the 20-week academy, these deputies and officers were pushed, but they never quit. They leave this academy with additional training that would take them years to acquire while working. They are better prepared to serve and make a positive difference in their communities, through agencies across North Georgia.

Congratulations Graduates of Class 008!

Wishing you a meaningful and reflective Memorial Day as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Residents are invited to read the latest Forsyth County Annual Report, now available in print and digital formats. The report highlights recent accomplishments, projects and statistics for various County departments and offices. Readers will also find financial data from 2025 and interesting “quick facts” about the County.

The annual report provides a comprehensive overview of the full range of services that Forsyth County has to offer. The publication also includes feature stories and department spotlights focused on initiatives, projects and operational advancements implemented throughout the past year.

"This year's annual report has some unique spotlights on both the ways the County is leading some innovative programs that our residents are seeing direct benefits from, as well as the people who are leading those programs," said Department of Communications Director Russell Brown.

Print copies of the report are available in the lobby of the Forsyth County Administration Building (2435 Freedom Parkway).
