TORNADO WARNING EXTENDED

The Tornado Warning has been extended until 7:15 PM for parts of northeastern DeWitt, Piatt, and southeastern McLean counties.

The storm is now near Weldon, moving east at 60 mph and continues to show rotation on radar.

This is the same storm that moved just north of the Decatur area and remains capable of producing a tornado.

Up next: Farmer City around 6:50 PM

Take cover now
Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows.
If you are outside or in a vehicle, get into a sturdy building immediately.

Stay alert as this storm continues east.

Tornado Warning until 6:45 PM for parts of Logan, De Witt, and Macon counties.

Storm is currently near Mount Pulaski moving east at about 55 mph and showing rotation on radar.

Threats: tornado, quarter-size hail, damaging winds

If you're in a car or outside, get to a solid building immediately
