• Southern Macon County
• Northeastern Christian County

⏰ Until 6:00 PM CDT

At 4:54 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Mechanicsburg, moving east at 35 mph.

⚠️ This storm is moving toward Decatur.

Hazards:
🌪️ Tornado possible
🧊 Baseball-size hail

Communities impacted include:
• Mount Auburn around 5:00 PM
• Niantic around 5:05 PM
• Harristown around 5:10 PM
• Decatur

• Macon County
• Piatt County
• Moultrie County
• Northeastern Christian County
• South Central De Witt County
• Northeastern Sangamon County
• Northwestern Shelby County

⏰ Until 5:45 PM CDT

At 4:49 PM, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Maroa to near Niantic to near Dawson, moving east at 50 mph.

Hazards:
💨 60 mph wind gusts
🧊 Quarter-size hail
🌪️ A tornado remains possible

Communities impacted include:
• Decatur
• Forsyth
• Mount Zion
• Argenta
• Oreana
• Cerro Gordo
• Monticello

Hail damage to vehicles is possible, while damaging winds may impact trees, power lines, roofs, and siding.
