Had the greatest Mother’s Day experience a couple weeks ago with Jaden of The Color Collective DSM 💐🍾🌈
Getting our color analysis done is something we’ve always talked about, and this was such a fun, comprehensive, magical time!🥰
Jaden took us on a journey through seasons, metals, contrasting colors/patterns, neutrals, makeup/blush shades and more to help us see what made us glow. It was so crazy watching our faces transform and change, lighting up when complimented, and going totally drab under the colors that didn’t serve us! 😳 You can’t tell from this 3 minute video, but she spent almost an hour on each of us!
I went into this knowing I was doing this with hopes of using it as a tool to eliminate clothes & jewelry that don’t look as good as others did on me. When I saw what silver did for me over gold jewelry, I didn’t know what to think! But Jaden reminded us all to take it with a grain of salt- just because certain colors or metals aren’t your necessarily in your “best” colors, doesn’t mean you have to toss them out or avoid them.
I felt like I understood so much more about myself and how to accentuate my skin and features, while also knowing I can still happily wear my beloved chartreuse clothes and gold jewelry if I want to- it’s called balance!! 🤪
