We’re excited to welcome Jansø to the Blank Code Records family with the release of his Oscuro EP, available on all platforms today.

Working with Jansø on this release has been an incredible journey. The music felt like a natural fit for Blank Code, and we’re excited to help introduce a young Detroit artist with a very bright future.

The Oscuro EP features four original tracks alongside a powerful remix of “Tenebras” by Truncate, and it’s already receiving early support from some serious names in techno:

Ben Sims, Alexi Delano, Ø [Phase], Dax J, Chris Liebing, René Wise, Takaaki Itoh, Lewis Fautzi, Christian Wunsch, Pfirter, Vince Watson, Cristian Varela, DJ Hyperactive and many more.

One of techno’s most distinctive and uncompromising artists returns to Detroit.

Ø [Phase] lands at The Lincoln Factory on October 3, 2026, presented by Blank Code & Lincoln Factory.

For more than two decades, Ø [Phase] has been a driving force in techno, developing a stripped back, relentlessly precise sound that has become unmistakably his own.

From his early work at Sony Music London as a mastering engineer to becoming a principal artist on Token Records and launching his own Modwerks label, his influence runs deep through the underground.

His catalog includes collaborations with Luke Slater as Roog Unit and Matrixxman as Phyxix, alongside co productions with Underworld and definitive remixes for Robert Hood, Len Faki, and Rødhåd.

A true technician of the art form, Ø [Phase] has headlined some of the world’s most respected clubs and festivals, including Berghain, Fabric, Dekmantel and ADE.

Now he returns to Detroit.

Blank Code and The Lincoln Factory welcome JANSØ to Detroit on September 19th, joining Truncate and Julia Govor for a night of forward thinking, driving techno.

Detroit born with Mexican roots, JANSØ brings a distinct cultural perspective to the techno landscape, merging Hispanic rhythmic traditions with modern techno. Entering the scene in late 2024, he has quickly begun developing a sound built around tribal movement, driving percussion, atmospheric tension, and rolling basslines.

Influenced by artists including Connor Wall, Mathys Lenne, and Maōh, JANSØ’s productions and DJ sets are focused on momentum, energy, and immersive storytelling.

With a sound that connects his heritage to the evolving world of techno, JANSØ represents a new generation of Detroit artists carving out their own identity.

Georgian born and NYC based, Julia Govor has established herself as a vital voice in the North American underground. Her approach to techno is both deeply rooted and unmistakably her own, earning recognition from Resident Advisor, Bandcamp Daily, The New Yorker, and beyond.

As the founder and curator of JUJUKA, Julia has continued to build a platform for boundary pushing electronic music. Her acclaimed 2024 album Laika and Ulka Were Here on Semantica further cemented her reputation as one of techno’s most innovative voices.

With releases across Semantica, JUJUKA, Pushmaster Discs, Anagram, BodyParts, and Akkult, along with collaborations and remixes spanning the underground spectrum, Julia’s influence extends well beyond the studio.

Her commanding DJ sets have taken her to some of the world’s most respected clubs and festivals, including Tresor, Movement Detroit, Time Warp, Awakenings, Fusion, Ultra, EDC, and EXIT, alongside legends such as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Amelie Lens, and Adam Beyer.

With more than 750 shows behind her, Julia Govor continues to push the boundaries of contemporary techno.

TRUNCATE — DETROIT | SEPTEMBER 19

Blank Code and Lincoln Factory welcome TRUNCATE to Detroit on September 19th, joining Julia Govor and Jansø for a night of raw, uncompromising techno.

Los Angeles native David Flores has been immersed in electronic music since the early ’90s, cutting his teeth on Southern California’s warehouse, desert, and rave circuit before developing his production work as Audio Injection.

In 2011, Flores launched Truncate, turning his focus toward the deeper, rawer side of techno. The project quickly earned critical acclaim from some of the most respected names in underground music, including Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, and many more.

His relentless production and touring schedule has taken Truncate to some of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals — Berghain, Fabric, Concrete, Movement Detroit, Womb, Dimensions, Awakenings, and Output, among others.

A veteran of the Los Angeles underground and a defining voice in contemporary techno, Truncate continues to evolve his sound while pushing the culture forward.
