I have been meditating on the concept of brokenness and I have come to the conclusion that there are two types of brokenness (1) life and (2) God. Life breaks you to harm and shatter you; to devastate you. Oh but God!!!! God uses brokenness to put our pieces together again with purpose…. Stay tuned, our October series will peel back these layers and reveal your “Mosaic Pieces, Beautifully Broken!” Artica Moore Austin Joseph Johnson Bellford

Life can bring with it trauma, hurt, pain, and loneliness that can lead to brokenness. A broken heart, a broken and devastated spirit, a broken psyche, and often, a broken hope. Many of us find ourselves like Humpty Dumpty, at the bottom of the wall, shattered into one million pieces, with all the King's horses and men of our lives struggling to put us back together again. They try with great diligence, but to no avail.

So we walk around broken — made sharp by the jagged edges of our broken pieces, slicing and cutting others through our interactions. We feel useless, after all, what use is there for something that is broken; someone who is broken? We ask the question, but move too quickly, fearing silence, to hear the answer.

But there is an answer. God answers. God responds, saying, "I have a use for someone who is broken--I have use for you." He heals our broken pieces and shines the light of Jesus Christ through them, creating the most extraordinary mosaic —you are a mosaic!

Join us in October for Mosica Pieces, Beautifully Broken, It is going to bless you in the most freeing way!
