SO excited that Governor will be coming to Charlotte for a joint fundraiser for the and , the NC House Democratic Leader.
No two organizations have the ability to transform the future of North Carolina and national politics as much as the NC House Democrats and the MeckDems. The NC House is the ONLY legislative chamber in the South we can realistically flip by 2030 – but to make that happen, we need to ensure that both our county parties and our party leaders have the resources to take advantage of this incredible electoral environment.
The NC House has more than ten districts where Donald Trump won by fewer than 10 percentage points, and we have an exceptional group of candidates on the ground doing the work (including here in Meck!), but we need your help. As the county with the most Democrats in all of North Carolina, when our voters turnout, we can change the game on what Democrats can do here.
In 2024, six Democrats won statewide – but to do so, they had to outspend their opponents a minimum of 5-to-1. That had real impacts in terms of how many resources were left over to fully invest in our legislative races, where true political power in North Carolina lies. By investing in the MeckDems, you help improve our turnout, which frees up resources so we can further invest in our legislative candidates and finally bring a Democratic governing majority back to North Carolina.
