I have a chronic disease called Mitochondrial Myopathy that affects multiple systems and causes debilitating pain, cramps, spasms, tremors, breathing issues, neuropathy, and many other symptoms that greatly affect my ability to perform gainful employment. However, SSDI has denied my claim again after ignoring the past year's medical history and issues. As a result, I am being forced to go back to work. As a result, my medical expenses for assistive therapies, clothing, medications, and devices have increased and I need help with the expenses. Loved ones have been supportive over the years, but these additional now-needed expenses are a lot to ask for them to cover, so I am asking for your help.
Due to my disease, I am only able to use certain devices, materials, etc., as to not cause more/increased symptoms and pain, and the items are only available from a small range of suppliers that have been found to be effective. The money donated will be used solely to support my health and the related so I can have any chance of maintaining the activity levels gainful employment entails. Without the needed items, I will not be able to remotely attempt to survive a full day's work without significant additional impacts on my health. The alternative to the forced work is as daunting as you can imagine, so I don't have a choice.
Please give what you can. This is not something I ask lightly and wouldn't if it wasn't my last resort. My health and future well-being are at stake.
